There’s never been a better time to lower your carbon footprint and do some good for the planet. But it’s not easy to calculate your emissions, and even then, how do you know if they adhere to the correct standards? Well, that’s where Pledge comes in.

With unique tech that helps businesses understand and manage their carbon footprint, it’s never been easier to stay up to date with your business’s climate impact. By making it simple to measure, you can reduce and offset your footprint and help keep the planet alive.

Pledge is backed by some pretty awesome people, too. Aside from climate specialists, industry-leading companies such as Checkout.com and Unity are also on board. What's more, they calculate emissions in adherence to the strictest standards, e.g., GHG, GLEC, ICAO).

This is another project that came about through our partnership with For Sure Studio — a creative design agency from London. The brief was to create a minimalistic brochure site for Pledge — with a focus on highlighting their products and offering a pleasant user journey.

We feel the key to a good brochure site is simplicity. First off, it had to look good, and For Sure Studio nailed this. Then it was our job to make the website user-friendly and easy to maintain should the client wish to make changes. This was highlighted in the brief, and we more than delivered on this front, with a modern theme and simple features.

How

Once we had a fully responsive layout, we worked on editing the content blocks until we found a structure we were happy with, and one that suited Pledge’s copy and content. We also worked on separate areas dedicated to mobile-specific content, ensuring a fully responsive website on all devices.

It was important to have a strong CTA on the homepage. Something that would encourage users to get in touch. So, we worked with Zapier and used their marketing forms to create a CTA that hooked people in and made it easy to submit an inquiry.

The website gets Pledge’s message across in a simple yet effective way. There’s nothing complex, and neither is the tech cutting-edge. But do you know what? That’s okay. Because sometimes all that’s needed is a simple and effective site that tells people about the business and encourages them to get in touch.
