Bringing The Pipe Internship to Life Online

Who

Ogilvy is a globally renowned creative agency, celebrated for its ability to craft iconic campaigns that connect brands with audiences. Every year, Ogilvy runs The Pipe, its flagship internship program designed to discover and nurture the next generation of creative talent. Known for its innovative approach, The Pipe goes beyond traditional recruitment methods to engage and inspire future industry leaders.

What

Ogilvy tasked us with creating the 2018 application website for The Pipe, a platform that needed to stand out as much as the program itself. The website had to captivate potential applicants while providing a seamless and intuitive application process. Key goals included: • A smooth membership application process. • Use of video and animation to bring the site to life. • A fully responsive design, ensuring optimal performance across devices. The website needed to reflect the creativity and innovation Ogilvy is known for while maintaining a user-first approach to simplify the application journey.

The project included:

Membership application process designed for ease of use.
Integrated video and animation to elevate storytelling.
Fully responsive design for consistent performance across devices.
Delivered a creative and impactful digital experience for Ogilvy.

How

We started by developing a vibrant, visually engaging website that mirrored the spirit of The Pipe. Video and animation were incorporated strategically to enhance storytelling, creating an immersive experience for users. These elements brought energy and dynamism to the platform, resonating with the program’s target audience of aspiring creatives. The membership application process was designed to be as intuitive as possible, guiding applicants seamlessly through each step. Every detail, from form design to navigation, was crafted to reduce friction and encourage engagement.
To ensure accessibility and usability, we implemented a fully responsive design, optimising the website for all devices and screen sizes. This approach guaranteed a consistent experience, whether users accessed the site from a desktop, tablet, or smartphone. The final product was a sleek, modern platform that showcased Ogilvy’s commitment to creativity while streamlining the application process for The Pipe’s 2018 cohort.
